Enjoy Your Steak and Eggs, Dieters!

Scientific studies are publishing data that agrees with what we low carb dieters knew the whole time! According to one study, published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, women on a diet that included red meat lost more weight than women on an equal calorie diet who did not eat red meat! You need to preserve your muscle mass during a diet, and protein helps with that. In addition, red meat tends to satisfy our appetites, and probably cuts cravings down!

You can grill or broil your steak, and enjoy it with a nice salad, without blowing anybody’s idea of a diet!

In addition, Louisiana State University at Baton Rouge, demonstrated that women who enjoyed an egg with their morning toast, lost more weight than women who just had a bread item for breakfast. Why? Again, the protein in the egg is satisfying, and it helps preserve muscle mass.

Don’t go overboard when you choose your daily menu, but get the idea out of your head that consuming all fat will make you thin!
